UK Immigration

Great Britain is a multicultural country with approximately a quarter of its 60 million people, born in countries other than the UK. Their countries of origin are diverse: they include the UK, China, Italy, Greece, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Africa and many others.

Although the fertility rate is 1.66 children per female, this is well below the rate required, since UK’s population is ageing rapidly (median age is 38.4 years and rising). Much of the UK’s population growth therefore, is due to immigration and this is expected to continue to be the case throughout the 21st century.

The United Kingdom is for many a place of opportunity. For young travellers it provides the opportunity to support themselves while exploring the UK and Europe while on schemes such as the Working Holidaymaker, for others the UK provides a quality education that can in turn lead to career in their home country or in the UK, on the UK study visas. Many individuals also look to further their careers and maximize their earning potential positions offered by the UK employers in areas of demand, taking up offers of employment using a UK Work Permit, or the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme. Those who wish to settle with their new partner in the UK, through marriage, de facto, fiance visas and who have a genuine family relationship with a UK citizen or permanent resident can stay in the UK on a Family Visa.

We understand the complexities facing those individuals requiring visa and permits to live in the UK for their own unique reasons. On this website we hope to explain the complexities of the immigration laws and regulations that affect you. We don't make you read unfamiliar terms and complex legislation, we offer a free assessment that allows us to determine what visas you are eligible for and the best options for you to live in the United Kingdom.

Our people make up a truly multinational team; having lived and worked in over 30 countries, with proficiency in numerous languages, many have experienced the immigration process that you may be going through right now. If at any stage you would like to talk to one of the team please contact us.
