Immigration
Investors
There are three main
sub-categories in the Business Class: Entrepreneurs,
Investors, and Self Employed Immigrants.
One of the Business Immigration
categories is the investor category. The Investor
applicant will be required to make an investment
of a certain amount, paid to the Receiver
General for that country.
The full amount of the investment
(without interest) is guaranteed for a refund
to the investor after approximately five years.
This category normally appeals
to those qualified business people who do
not wish to be active in a new business in
the country, or do not wish to have terms
and conditions applied to their visa.
Those wishing to be in control
of their own investment should consider the
Entrepreneurs category instead.
It is a good idea to explore
various sources to identify good business
opportunities. Sources include advertisements
in the local newspapers, websites, business
brokers, friends, or personal site visits.
Please do a thorough assessment of the business
before making any investment.
